The ecological standards are a new threat to the Bulgarian metallurgic sector. The business has to make huge investments in order to comply with the EU requirements and this fact will seriously jeopardize its competitiveness. This was said on 5 Nov. at a meeting of the Bulgarian metallurgic business by representatives of some of the biggest local companies in the sector like Kremokovtsi, Umicore Med, KCM, Viohalco, Metalstan Holding. Over BGN 800 are the investments for the last 3-4 years in the sector.
